I took my Nclex Rn on Tuesday, tired PVT today on Saturday and didnit get good pop up:(. My exam shut off at 77 questions. I am international grad and dont know how this CAT works:(.

Is there any hope I can still pass???

Hey thanks fo your reply. I think I got confused in how to answers the tricky questions. I tried my best to do a good content review from Sanders. I am just confused now how to start with. I am actually discouraged: (

Thanks also I will look for NCSBN course.

I was Wondering can I re register myself to baord of nursing so that my application gets approved quickly?? I believe we have to wait minimum 45 days for exam not application right???

@saman123...I am also foreign educated nurse too,I applied from New York board,I did kaplan,husrt review course....for content I used saunders 5th edition....now doing NCSBN course and it is so helpful for me....good luck and god bless u!!!!

Thanks. Will you be giving first time?" I studied from Saunders 6 edition only but unfortunately didnt make it:(

How much these course cost?? If you dont mind can you please share

Wait for your candidate performance report to see which are your weak areas. Consider a live review, costly but may be beneficial. Like I stated earlier Kaplan has an in person or online review for IENs

A lower cost if you think your test taking skills & question decoding skills are up to par, is learning next the NCSBN online review. You pay for a period of access I think 3 weeks is $50 or so.

My CPR says 6 near passing standards and 2 below passing standard s. I dont know how to relate it with m performance.. did I performed too bad or I was close enough to get it.. do you have any idea???

@ saman123...you can search in google about those course because I forget exact price....i am doing NCSBN 8 week course and price was $100

I think to pass NCLEX we need to be above the passing standard in all 6 areas....where did you apply for?(board),I am taking mine soon but haven't fixed date.....I think You can take exam after 45 days...

I applied through California board of nursing. I was just exploring about NSCBN course. How did you find it?? I think I should go for this too. Do they have bundle of practice questions because I practice only Saunders question and applied those strategies in the exam but didnt work:(

I am planning to register again and start studying. Just feel scare now:(

Good luck to you practice well dear!!!!

Please tell me one thing I can go ahead and re register to board right? i dont have to wait 45 days to reapply to baord..I am just confused

For NCSBN course you can just search in google...Ncsbn learning extension course and you can register the course.....I don think you need to contact board of nursing if you fail exam...you need to pay Person vue fee and your nursing board will issue ATT ...I think your ATT comes within one week....try to do from different book and read rational even if you did it right,it will help you...I bought davis's Q&A review too....it is not easy for international students to pass NCLEX in 1st attempt....be strong and keep reading.....we can do it...you can write your email address if u don mind...

This should be of help:

https://m.ncsbn.org/1224.htm

It outlines NCSBN's retake policy...

http://www.rn.ca.gov/applicants/lic-faqs.shtml

This has some information on retaking the Boards in California...

FYI Google is your friend.

Best wishes...BREATHE...take a step back FIRST and study, then reapply for examination...don't be in a haste to reapply when you need to understand the basics of the NCLEX:

1. Safe, effective care;

2. Health promotion;

3. Physiological Integrity;

4. Psychosocial Integrity.

These are 4 keys to becoming a licensed nurse; know what concepts the question is ASKING you is the first step in understanding the questions and choosing the best answer.
