I would really like some input in regards to Platt College. I will be moving to OKC and wanted to attend Platt. I have seen some bad comments about the school in posts. Could anyone please give me their opinion on Platt.

Hi, I am also moving to OKC, I have done a lot of checking and found that Platt is very expensive and some places won't hire platt grads until they have some experience. I recommend checking into Moore Norman technology center and Metro tech. They are fairly inexpensive, accredited by NLN and, great pass rates for the NCLEX. Mid-Del tech is another one. Hope this helps.

Have you looked at Platt's NCLEX pass rate?? It's horrible at 47%. I wouldn't touch that school with a 10 foot poll:

I will graduate the Tulsa LPN to RN program in July. In its current state I would not recommend it to anyone. Maybe in a few years when they get the kinks worked out but with its current low pass rate, lack of accreditation and cost it just isn't worth it. i am in the same boat as some of my other class mates who want to go on to get our BSN but are having problems finding a BSN program that will accept Platt.
Other that the fact I like some of the instructors, I cant think of anything positive to say about the program. The administration seems to be willing to say anything to get you to sign up. including things such as working clinicals around your work schedule, what their true pass rate is and their level of accreditation. The administration is/was rude and unprofessional on many occasions.
if anyone wants more details on anything i have said feel free to PM me.
