Hi Everyone,

I am going to interview with a hospital in Plano, TX soon. Wondering about the area and what kind of wages to expect. Anyone know anything about the Medical Center Plano ? Appreciate the help.

The last I heard no, but I'd bet it also depends on your specialty. ICU and Trauma are always in hgh demand with all the nurses leaving the field...

hi biznurse.i am an rn in canada for 3 yrs now but did my bsn in the philippines.i work in medicine/telemetry/day surgery.used to be a cardiology ward with stepdown coronary care unit.i'd love to move to texas but if they are not giving any sign in bonus/relocation bonus,i might look somewhere else.

I worked Tele too!!! And my "bestest bud" and biz partner lives in Manatoba! SMALL WORLD...

You might want to get with one of the nurse recruiters and see what they have to offer. Or even a temp agency so you can try out an area first. You'd have to get licensed in the US of course, but that whouldn't bee too difficult!

o i c,they went here in manitoba to recruit nurses during a jobfair but really didnt talk to them so i wasnt able to ask for relocation bonus but most of the jobfair recruiters offer sign in bonus and relocation bonus.

I don't know about relocation bonuses, but they are paying a sign-on bonus for most RN positions. I'm not sure how much the bonus is.
