Pitt CRNA Fall 2016/Spring 2017

Hi all -

Turned in my application the beginning of January for Pitt's CRNA program. I know they did interviews in December, but I was curious to hear from those who will also be awaiting an interview in February. Just thought it would be nice for those to post when they start to hear back to give everyone a better idea of a timeline for this process. Best of luck to everyone!

Congrats everyone! I'm starting August this year at Pitt and was wondering if anyone is looking for roommates or to live together? I would like to live close to the school and have found some good 3-4 bdrm houses online. Let me know!

Only those who initially applied to MSN but were accepted to the DNP program need to do this. MSN students don't need to worry about it.

Anyone know how many seats there are for the Spring 2017 class? Wondering if they're still interviewing candidates. Or if all candidates have been interviewed, if there are stills seats to be filled.

The interviews are definitely done...not sure if it's filled yet, but unfortunately it's a good chance.

Actually I was recently on nursingcas and saw they had an application for DNP Spring 2017 with a 5/1/16 application deadline. They might be holding another round of interviews, I'm not sure. I just emailed the other day but no response yet.

Hey I want to take classes in the fall before starting the DNP part in January. What area are you looking at for houses?

Actually I was recently on nursingcas and saw they had an application for DNP Spring 2017 with a 5/1/16 application deadline. They might be holding another round of interviews, I'm not sure. I just emailed the other day but no response yet.

Let me know what you hear! I'd be interested to find this out as well. I already applied for 2018 but hopefully be considered for 2017 since I applied before 5/01.

Called this morning to confirm-- Spring 2017 interviews are not being held. Probably that 5/01 deadline was the other dnp programs at Pitt, since that's usually their deadline.

Thanks for the update, I never got a response to my email. I actually interviewed in Feb, have never heard anything, not even a rejection letter... Has anyone who interviewed gotten a rejection email?

Question for your guys... I was planning to apply next year, did you guys all have to take GREs? And are they waived if your gpa is high?

GRE is required and heavily weighted for consideration.
