Pitt CRNA Fall 2016/Spring 2017

Published

Hi all -

Turned in my application the beginning of January for Pitt's CRNA program. I know they did interviews in December, but I was curious to hear from those who will also be awaiting an interview in February. Just thought it would be nice for those to post when they start to hear back to give everyone a better idea of a timeline for this process. Best of luck to everyone!

I'm guessing that it's safe to assume that we won't hear anything for at LEAST another week, Otherwise why would they have gone through all of the trouble emailing all of us individually just to notify us a day or two later. Just my thoughts...

I know, I was just hoping for something. I'm at that place where I need to start applying to schools again, and if I'm in id rather not shell out the time/money.

Hey! I have been accepted to the Fall of 2016 class, and will be moving to the DNP class for Spring 2017. I've started working on the essay, and now I'm thinking about taking a few classes in the Fall. Has anyone else made decisions regarding early classes?

Specializes in CEN, CCRN, TNCC.

I was accepted into the MSN program last year on the delayed entry, i also elected to go into the DNP program. Good luck an i will see you in january. I would recommend taking Patho and/or Stats, they are time consuming and from everything i have heard from folks already in the grind these are good classes to have out of the way.

Has anyone who got the email heard anything yet? I'm trying not to feel like they are toying with my emotions! :(

I received the email 2 weeks ago, but have not heard anything since.

Nothing here. I believe the deadline for those that received acceptances is this Friday. We may not hear till next week.

That's a little disheartening. This waiting game is torture.

Just accepted entrance to DNP class starting January 2017!!

They just called you? That's great! Congrats! I'm trying to stay hopeful!

I received the call about 1pm. I also recieved the email 2 weeks ago to "continue to wait" so definitely stay hopeful!!
