  1. Thanks for the update, I never got a response to my email. I actually interviewed in Feb, have never heard anything, not even a rejection letter... Has anyone who interviewed gotten a rejection email?
  2. Actually I was recently on nursingcas and saw they had an application for DNP Spring 2017 with a 5/1/16 application deadline. They might be holding another round of interviews, I'm not sure. I just emailed the other day but no response yet.
  3. Would those already accepted mind posting when you submitted your application and when you interviewed? I already have a complete nursingcas application so I would only need to do a little extra to submit an application to Miami. But I am taking CCRN in a month and was thinking of waiting until after taking it to submit. If there is no advantage to submitting it early I am going to wait. I know some schools won't even look at applications until after the deadline (which would be July 1st for regular admissions). But some schools start interviewing before the deadline. Trying to get an idea of how Miami does it.
  4. Thanks to those who posted helpful tips here. I think interviews were a huge weakness for me when I applied to schools this past fall. I am making a second attempt at applications this year and am trying to prep now for interviews. Anyone have advice on how you would answer the following questions: 1) What don't you like about your job? I was asked this and couldn't think of an answer that didn't make me sound like whiny... I can't even remember what I ended up saying but I don't think it was anything good. 2) What is a good way to recover if they ask a clinical question and you can't answer? Thanks
  5. Hi, congrats. Would you be able to clarify this? At the interview they said it was going to work like this: The top candidates would be offered DNP admission for Jan, the rest that are being accepted would be offered MSN. It sounds like this isn't the case anymore.
  6. Congrats. When did you find out? I haven't heard anything after that status email sent a few weeks ago. I'm thinking its not looking so good for me..
  7. So is it official that UPenn's program will offer the DNP starting this fall? Thanks
  8. appreciate the feedback, thanks :)
  9. I'm trying to gather some data for piece of mind on people who have been waitlisted for a CRNA program. If you or someone you know was waitlisted then admitted - how many months before the start of the program did you find out? Did you have any contact with the school while you were waiting to hear? Did you do something to try to stand out on the waitlist? And if you (or someone you know) was rejected after being waitlisted could you answer those questions as well (how long did it take to get the rejection, did you attempt to contact the school, etc.) thanks
  10. Oh I found it, thank you for posting about this I had no idea they were starting a CRNA program.
  11. When I started researching CRNA schools I was surprised there wasn't already one in Atlanta. However I cannot find any info on this program, how did you find out about it?
  12. Were there organic chem questions on this exam?
  13. If your friend gets any information, please come back and update here! This is the only school I never got word from. I had kind of given up on GU but it seems like they are still working on admissions.. Thanks in advance.
  14. BartenderRN, congrats on your acceptance there. I hope its not really another 2 weeks that we have to wait!
  15. I'm surprised we were given different times; we were told it would take 2-4 weeks to hear back (and that was not quite 2 weeks ago). I have been nervously checking my email constantly
