Hi! Has anyone applied for Pitt community college ADN program for Fall '24. I'm super nervous about if I will get accepted or denied. Has anyone started receiving acceptance letters?

I am super nervous as well I have not received mine either I think the deadline isn't until April 30th for them to send letters out I hate this waiting game 🫣

Same. My nerves are so bad. I did speak with the science department chair while in A&P 2 and he mentioned that they're accepting almost anyone with the minimum qualifications because they haven't been getting many applications since COVID, so I'm trying to hold onto that.

I hope that is true I did also apply to BCC in hopes that I would get into one! But I would prefer PCC as it's closer did you apply to any other schools do you know what your score was?

I also applied to PCC! I hope what the A&P Chair said is true... I'm so anxious to find out! I applied to Edgecombe but would prefer PCC. I have 88 points I believe and 3.2 GPA

Hopefully we will all hear something in the next couple of weeks my GPA was also 3.2 my points were 95 I believe I didn't get any extra for the TEAS test unfortunately I only scored 64 on that 🫣 but I have hopes we will all get in!

I am hopefully we all will too!! My TEAS was a 65 so not far from you🫣 I think the max points anyone can have is 120 so we aren't too far from that. April 30 can't get here fast enough!!

I have 84 points with a 2.9 GPA and a 64 on the TEAS as well. A&P literally DEVOURED me! I know my chances of getting in are slim, but I wanted to apply anyway since I got the tip from the department chair. I came out of my TEAS smiling hard thinking I was getting points for my score then I looked back at the scorecard and realized I passed, but I wasn't getting any extra points. I should've taken it again.

Don't beat yourself up! I took the TEAS 2x and I did worse the second time. I hope we all get in!! Did you apply anywhere else?

I did not. Unfortunately Pitt is the only school that makes sense for me right now for many reasons. I thought about Wilson's program but they require you to be a CNA before applying.

Well I hope you get in! I also thought about Wilson and Nash but I don't have my CNA either. I'm from Wilson, but I just moved back this year from being in Ohio. I worked as a CNA but in Ohio they don't require certification like NC.

I hope we all get in! Fingers crossed for good news in the next few weeks. I totally understand, that extra step for the CNA certification isn't possible for a lot of students. I know it wasn't for me. Hopefully we hear something back really soon and they don't wait until the very last minute to send out letters because I can't take the waiting game haha!
