Pioneer Staffing Services - Centinela Medical Center New Grads

Hello All,

Wondering if anyone has signed a new grad contract with Pioneer Staffing Services for the Centinela Medical Center? I have been offered a position but am a bit nervous about signing a 2 yr contract with them...

Or if you have any experience working at Centinela? Any advice?

Okay, I'm really glad I asked! That gives me hope! I'm so nervous because I'm an out-of-state student (which I know I've been told not to come here), but had to come here for other reasons. So I feel on the bottom of the totem-pole. Maybe I will try directly applying to other hospitals outside of their new grad programs, like you said.

I know this is a very old post but if anyone happens to see this comment, could you please give an update to the working condition/environment at Centinela? How is the unit culture, safety, etc - especially on the DOU/ICU floor as a new grad?

The working conditions are the same. Centinela does not care about its nurses. That hospital is so unsafe for patients and nurses. Go somewhere else, its not worth it.
