Really?! What was your score on the HESI?
94...it has nothing to do with the test score...just has an incredibly long wait list!
Oh yes :) I'm sorry! I was just curious. I find it weird that they have a wait list there because they advertise at my Pima that there is no wait list.
oh no theres a LONG wait list! if your planning on going to pima for nursing apply ASAP!

I think you're thinking of the private Pima Medical Institute here in the Phoenix area, whereas the OP is talking about Pima County Community College.
yes i am talking about pima community college
I didn't realize the waiting lists were so bad down there. Even here in Maricopa they're starting to loosen up. A friend of mine moved to Yavapai county to escape waiting list hell and just graduated a semester ago. Would that be a possibility for you? Because as far as I know, neither Yavapai nor Mojave county have any waiting lists.
Not really my gf and I are about to have a baby and she goes to school in tucson. But im starting nursing school in august so my wait is finally over. im just saying for student looking to go through pima put ur app in as soon as possible! i know CAC doesnt have a waiting list either

I waited 2 and 1/2 years for my program mainly because it's a lottery based program...was I should say. As much as that wait did suck, I don't regret it because I would have never gotten into any other community college school that was GPA/point based since my grades weren't top notch nor was my HESI score (I believe I got like an 82 or something). It's not just your school, I think a lot of schools are like that, whether it's a university or community college. Nursing is getting impacted, has been I should say.

All the community colleges have a long wait, however I got into MCC in 6 months.

My school on florida has no wait list. You either get in or apply next time. About 500 plus applicants each semester for about 90 spots. Most in my class applied multiple times and a third applied 3 times. I feel lucky I got in the first time.
