  1. I haven't taken the transition to graduate study course yet since im in the AIM program for AGACNP and will be taking that class along with some leadership class but I have already completed 3 masters level classes including the policy and advocacy for improving population health. I was taking two classes at the same time and I got A's. I have 2 kids and work full time. If you can knock out papers and posts easily these classes will be no problem.
  2. see i u got ur RN license, with that amount of experience you could be making 40/hr+
  3. Not really my gf and I are about to have a baby and she goes to school in tucson. But im starting nursing school in august so my wait is finally over. im just saying for student looking to go through pima put ur app in as soon as possible! i know CAC doesnt have a waiting list either
  4. yes i am talking about pima community college
  5. oh no theres a LONG wait list! if your planning on going to pima for nursing apply ASAP!
  6. 94...it has nothing to do with the test score...just has an incredibly long wait list!
  7. you wouldnt be saying that if you met a nurse i work with over in general preop...this nurse had half a brain...
  8. why not just get your RN? u make more money, have more responsibilities.. more career choices..
  9. Well i cant say that all of nursing school is common sense because as ive said before there are MANY nurses that i have worked with that lack such a trait...And if they can get their RN then honestly, i dont think getting my RN will be very difficult
  10. Well I used to work as a CNA but currently work as a cardiovascular technician in a medical center where I do diagnostic testing of the heart. I have done my research on what a CRNA does. I do plan on shadowing a CRNA in the future but earning my BSN in my priority right now. Ive been reading forums on the course work for the programs and I know they differ from state to state so I guess I will just have to wait and see.
  11. well im not worried about nursing school because honestly, i have been working in a clinical environment for 5 years and man some of therse nurses...well they scare me knowing the have some patients life in their hands to say the least. and i got my CNA and i never studied once even though i know nursing will be more challenging. i feel like a lot of the nursing theory is common sense. im mainly worried about the difficulty of material in CRNA school that i will be expected to comprehend..any current students out there that can give me any advice?
  12. I haven't gone through nursing school yet but I start in a couple months...I didn't take my prereqs very seriously so my gpa is 2.98...If u get accepted somewhere tell me which program you chose! @ONE-TWO--
  13. I really want to be a CRNA. I am just wondering how smart you really have to be to be successful as a CRNA. I feel im am average or above average in intellect. I have heard the material isnt really THAT difficult its just a lot. can anyone give me some insight as to what the program really entails. thanks!
  14. anyone else have to wait an incredible amount of time just to start nursing?! ive waited two years just to start the nursing program at pima college in tucson. its so frustrating the wait list is so long!
