Hi everyone,

Downey is offering DOU, Float Pool, ICU  and Med/Surg

and

Good Samaritan is offering:

Acute Rehab Unit, CVDOU, DOU, Med/Surg Respiratory, Med/Surg Orthopedics

and Transitional Care Unit.

Best of luck everyone ! 🙂

I uploaded my cover letter + resume in one document. I also include ACLS,BLS,PALS + work experience when I filled out the form. ye the questionnaire is just asking your CA RN license #, school you graduated from + graduation date, highest nursing degree, you have any bachelor's or master's in a different field, did you complete clinical rotations at PIH health, healthcare experience, volunteer experience, certifications you have, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd preferred dept/shift. and the in the email it said: "Interviews are anticipated to take place throughout January 2026. If you are selected to move forward in the interview stage, the hiring department will contact you directly."

Okay didn't ask for LOR? Hopefully I get the link tomorrow or soon.

Did you apply right away when it opened or what time you submitted your application?

I submitted on 12/09. I think I attached LoR but honestly I don't remember. I can't look back my submission. I can only see it's active

Oh that's right I can't see it too !

On Wednesday! it all went by so quickly, but I would say they asked general interview questions, some behavioral questions, and then clinical based scenarios. nothing too crazy, they were also so nice, so it felt more conversational rather than an interrogation. as someone else mentioned-- just be confident and don't be afraid to show some personality

congrats on your interview!! I really hope you get the offer! I was wondering if you could share on things that you think made you stand out more on resume/cover letter? Also, would you be kind to elaborate regarding "general interview questions, some behavioral questions, and then clinical based scenarios?" I just wanted to be prepared for my future interviews since I don't really have a lot of experience for interviews

Specializes in ED.

I received rejection for ED Downey .... I'm starting to think I have higher chances on winning from lottery then getting in new grad program.....
