Hi!

I am curious what your dress code is and what kind of facility it is you work in. I am specifically curious if the central Ohio hospitals allow small nose studs for nurses. However, please chime in if you live anywhere in Ohio and let me know if you work at a SNF, hospital, home health etc...Thanks!!!

When I shadowed at Cleveland Clinic I saw a male nurse who had sleeve tattos on both arms and he was wearing the traditional short sleeve top. My guess is he must've been grandfathered in. I think for the most part all Cleveland area hospitals require all visible tattoos to be covered. You can go to their website, they should have their tattoo/piercings policies online.

Columbus Ohio psych home health. I have my tongue pierced, ears gauged, and arms covered in ink. I dress casual professional and usually wear 3/4 sleeves in summer. The ltc facility I was in didnt have a specific policy either.
