Pierce Wa Nursing Program

Hi everyone! We will soon find out if we got an interview to the Pierce Nursing Program for Winter Admission. I created this forum to keep everyone up with the status of my application too! Post when you find out if you've got an interview, or post with your info (gpa, Kaplan score, etc.)

Well that's frustrating! I had gotten in somewhere else that started in January but I declined it because I really wanted Pierce. Fall at the earliest? So it may not even be in the fall?

That's what she said...appearantly the professoprofessors are frustrated and over worked. It all sounds bad :/ where did you get in?

I got into Shoreline near Seattle but I didn't want to fight that traffic every morning. Maybe I'll apply to PLU

I am so frustrated. Eager to get started. I know we are blessed to have earned a seat at Pierce when their program does start, but it's still discouraging to see/hear that the professors and the higher ups are having so many problems right now. This concerns me for when we do actually start. Will the program be ran the same way? A constant cluster? Yikes.

i want to apply to PLU just in case, but since i did not k-12 here, i need to do a English test that costs $185. that's crazy! this is the same reason i didn't apply last year... Had i applied last year, who knows if i could have started already :/ in the bigger scheme of things, $185 is nothing. But if i don't attend there, that's a lot of money... if that makes sense at all

Yeah of course! It's so competitive that's why I never applied. I just don't think its really fair for us to have to wait that long to start at Pierce. I get that there's a new nursing director but we might as well have waited for this year to apply! I mean students that haven't even applied to nursing programs but will this semester will start before we even do. It's just overwhelming. Guess I should be grateful.

Hi everyone! This is my very first comment and I wanted to say that I'm very excited about the nursing program. I applied to Tacoma Community College. I was actually wondering when the results of the lottery were going to be posted, so thanks for the update on that hagattha í ½í¸Š. The last time I was in school was many years ago, so yes, I'm a little nervous.

Saw yesterday on tcc website that tammy and I are eligible and our weighted scores... now just waiting for results. Still hopeful for a miracle with Pierce
