Piedmont College applicants 2014

I too have applied at piedmont! Had my interview last week in January! Has anyone heard anything?

My only choice is Piedmont at this point, because they are the only school that will accepet my 6 year old sciences! I am just trying to avoid taking all of those classes again. If I don't get I wil just have to take all of them again and try for somewhere else. I just want to avoid it because I work as an lpn now and it would probably take me forever taking one science at a time.

I am annoyed with the weather too! With no one working, and no mail running, it may be another month!!! I sure hope not. I too have all of my eggs in the Piedmont basket. I haven't taken any chemistry and many of the other schools require it.Maybe just maybe we will know something by the end of the week.

So - did anyone else get the e-mail from Piedmont regarding the TEAS V testing date - and read that they have now extended the application date as well?

I went to their website and this is what I cut "If you qualify for the program, we will contact you to schedule an interview.

It is your responsibility to make sure that Piedmont College and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences have all of the necessary documents. We are currently accepting applications until the program is filled."

I enlarged that font for the dramatic effect. So? Did they not fill all the seats? Have they decided on the ones they interviewed and now need more? OMG - now I am stressing. Can anyone make sense out of any of this?

I do not think that they have started mailing acceptance letters yet. I had an interview and have not heard back. I have friends that got accepted last year and they said after the interview it was 3 weeks or longer before the letters were mailed out. Now with all the snow days I would suspect it to even longer. I would be counting on March before acceptance letters are send out.

Yes I agree. I was upset by that email though. I am anxious, and I am wondering if anyone that interviewed definitely got a spot.

A lot of schools have pushed back the application deadline. I think it's a common thing. Some people are deined right away and do not get an interview. If you get an interview then you at least ohave the potential to get in. When I had my interview they told me that they will allow people to continue applying until all of the spots are filled. I am sure that a lot of people that interviewed got a spot, they just have not sent of letters yet!!!

Yeah, the application date is. .... Until spots are filled. I think if we got spots, then letters should go out. Bc we had everything complete by the date. I mean if I had waited to take the teas again, I could have possibly scored higher. It's just me being anxious!
