Hi y'all!
I just got home from my interview with Piedmont, and I'd have to say it went really well!
The first thing you'll do when you come to piedmont is to park at their north deck which is hard to find because of all the construction, but you'll find it I can't explain how I found it cause I was lost for ten minutes, so make sure you get here early. You'll go into their employment center(there's a sign that says employment center), and speak with their receptionist. Depending on what time you get there you'll sit down and wait while they call the clinical manager to come get you. I happened to be interviewing for their Med Surg units, so one of them came to get me, and we walked together into the hospital and onto one of their floors. I was taken to a room, and there were six unit managers there, which was really nerve wrecking.
Through the actual interview, they first started by introducing themselves and talking about their unit, including bed numbers and what they treat and such. After that, they asked me some behavioral questions, like why Piedmont, stuff like that. They had two clinical questions. But those I'll keep a surprise for y'all :) After that, we went over what questions I had, and they asked for my top three unit choices and whether I wanted days or not.
That's really all I have to say about the interview, but I felt really at ease with all of them and it was really easy to talk to all of them, so it didn't actually feel like an interview with me. If you have any questions just shoot me a questions here or in my DM's!

The interview was very pleasant! I talked about it towards the end of my original post, I hope that it can help you! I should also add, if you wear heels be aware that they might give you a unit tour! I got to tour the neuro med surg floor and it was nice!

I am looking to apply once they open their summer application. What is the reference process like? Do I need letters of recommendation or just phone numbers?
