Does anyone know how much the picc line insertion companies charge the facilities?

I have never heard of such a company. Most hospitals have their own IV teams that place PICCs. When I worked for a home infusion pharmacy, our field nurses were only able to place midlines in the home.
yes there are several companies that insert them and has become a financially great outcome for the facility

The Rehab facility I worked in used one if the patient did not come with one already inserted.

We charge all our PICC placements per their Infusion Contract. Some companies charge 350, for an uncomplicated US placement, while others charge 600 or more. Some pricing includes the navigation equipment used, some don't. There are way too many variables to pinpoint one dollar amount.

Agree with IVRUS. I've seen companies charge from about $300 to $650. Not to be too biased, the higher charging insertion rate usually involves navigation equipment and usually elimination of the chest x-ray. The lower rate companies may use a not-so-popular (inexpensive) brand of PICC without navigation. It just depends on what you want for the buck.
I'd consider your environment. In a long term facility that may only use a PICC for antibiotics that does not require immediate release of the line, the cheaper option may be the way to go...

$300-$600 per insertion depending on the types of lines inserted and what other services are provided.
