PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

U.S.A. Florida

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Thanks!

UMMM that sucks so bad my chances just dropped HUGELY

Mine did too! Ahh. I don't think I'll get in :( always next time though. I'm not giving up

Keep positive and stay strong

So nervous. On a hope and a prayer right now. Pray with me everyone..."Dear God, if you could please have PHSC offer all of us a seat for the Spring 2015 RN program (have to be specific...you never know) we promise to never ask for another thing from you again. Amen!" :saint:

Amen!!!!!

Wow I wanted to know so bad and now that I know my stomach dropped to the ground. 164 applicants?! My goodness.

Amen! I am beyond nervous now but I am hoping that all of us get in. I looked back on a forum and it said that since Porter opened up we have a better chance. 72 seats is better then 48. My friend who just graduated the program also told me this and said she had 260 applicants for 48 seats. She of course had a total of 93% so she didn't have to worry lol She also said that of those 164 applicants alot of low scores and apply anyway. So here's to praying!

I haven't applied yet hope to next year for next fall but I've been following your thread just to see if you all make it in! Good luck to you all! Hope for some good news soon! :-)

With everything said and done, I honestly believe this group has more knowledge of the process now than any other group before us. We have them and all of us to thank for that, no matter if we get in this time or next time. Never give up and remember Knowledge is Power!

Stay positive :) folks. #FutureNurse

I know i'm a bit late joining the group, but a fellow applicant told me about it today. I applied for the RN program at the west campus. I have a 75 on my TEAS, a 4.0 GPA, and residency. Just the thought of my letter in the mail makes me nauseous lol Good luck everyone! I hope to see a lot of good news in the upcoming week :)

I just found on one forum it said for Fall 2013 there were over 170 applicants and scores ranged from GPA 3.5-4.0 TEAS 72-94. However it all depends on who applied this semester. There could be more people with higher GPAs and TEAS or lower. We really just have no way of knowing who is safe but im guessing anyone w a 84 overall or higher is.
