I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
I only applied to West. If all else fails, I will be applying for the January admission at Porter campus, and again next year at West campus. At least next year there won't be paramedics to compete against!
Congrats to everyone that got in. Did you anybody get an email for the generic that is at the bottom of the alphabet? I'm guessing they don't send denial letters via email, just acceptance. This waiting is like a slow, painful, death though I think I know the answer
It sucks because I have a 3.8 on my pre reqs, but my teas score wasn't that great, and I didn't have time to retake it. And I'm not a pasco resident, but I've been attending Phsc for 3 years, and lived in pasco for 13 years. Also, I finished all my co reqs as well, because I've always planned on doing the nursing program. If I don't get in ill probably look into Rasmussen. Sorry I'm venting lol!
Keep your head up!! But just a word of caution, be careful with the school you choose. Not all schools have the proper accreditation. I work at Florida Hospital Tampa, and they will not hire graduates from Rasmssen.
