I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
I was accepted at both Porter and West campus. I am going to accept the seat at Porter. I will turn in my forms today saying that I accept Porter and decline West so there is one more spot that will be open : )

I guess our scores were not high enough :-( I agree though really hope we can be an alternate! Connie said she is mailing those out today so we should know for sure tomorrow and just hope a spot will open.. i applied to both west and Dade city so trying to stay hopefully :-)

I only applied to West. If all else fails, I will be applying for the January admission at Porter campus, and again next year at West campus. At least next year there won't be paramedics to compete against!
So I couldn't wait... i called Connie she has sent out all the transition emails and said if we didn't get one then we didn't get in :-( I'm super sad.. alternate/denial letters are being mailed out today ...
Don't give up hope you may have been selected as an alternate. Stay positive!!!
