Hi all!! I'm starting this new thread in hopes of finding some returning or new applicants to PHSCs Fall 2016 RN orogram! This will be my 4th time applying 3rd in a row..... I'm planning on retaking my Teas to try for a better composite score.. will be applying to all available campuses for the RN transition program! :-)
I received an email however, it says brooksville evening and i applied for the day..to my knowledge they only had the day program. im thinking my email is some sort of spam and freaking out about it bc i changed my number a few weeks ago..
Well that's really strangely specific for spam...
You should make a phone call or two instead of ignoring it out of fear that someone randomly happened to send you spam from the nursing program at the college you applied to and mentioned the campus you applied to as well...
They have deadlines on that stuff and you will lose your seat if you don't get back to them in time. I know the letter I got had today at 4 p.m. as a deadline, and alternates were getting phone calls around 5 p.m. - so they don't leave any leeway.
I see on here that people have already heard from PHSC about the Generic RN program, and I have not yet heard. Should I be worried? I applied with a 3.67 GPA in the prerequisites and an 80 on the TEAS, but I live in Hillsborough county. Is there any chance at me getting in since I'm out of the county? I really hoped I had a chance here, but I'm worried since I haven't received any letters or emails from them.

You could always give them a call to make sure there wasn't a mistake, but phone calls/emails/letters have gone out and the deadline to accept has passed. Sorry.

i called. Are placement will be based on zip code. So you will attend the campus you live closest too.
