What is the starting salary or hourly pay in metro Phoenix. Is banner the top hosiptal to get in? I heard PHX Children's hospital hires new grads and has a nice starting salary. Can anyone give insight?

Mayo is probably the best education wise, but competitive to get into. Dignity is best benefits wise, with HonorHealth close behind. Banner is a good; new grads start at nearly $28/hour. I've never worked in PCH and haven't talked to friends that work there about it, so I can't elaborate on PCH. Average starting salary for new grads is about $26-$27.

I currently work for Banner as a new grad. We just got bumped to 27.40 an hour with almost 5 dollars night diff. I had 4 job offers as a new grad with Dignity, Maricopa, and Honor Health. I can say that both Dignity and Maricopa were 27. Honor Health was 28 but with 4-6 differentials with night shift.
Banner by far does the best with training out of the 4. Im sure Mayo would be the best but I am not too familiar with their program. I was very happy with Banner's . I have almost 60 Continuing ed hours already 7 months into working there, 15 critical care certs, and 3 stroke certs. That is way more than what I can say for any other new grad in any other new grad program.
Honor Health definitely pays the most. I have a couple friends at Childrens that say they love their jobs but were surprised to see that their pay wasnt that great. I dont know how much exactly but I know it is not on par with the other programs.

Dignity offered a friend $25/hr, unsure about the differential.
HonorHealth starts at $28.50 with shift differential of $4.50-6.75/hr depending on evenings or nights and then an additional $1.70 for the weekend.
Mayo Starts at ~$32 and the residency program that takes about 12 people every 6 months is a year long with didactic education from the Nursing Education Specialists.

Man I'd love to move closer to my family but with those sort of wages nevermind. Considering that arizona isn't really cheap for housing, how do nurses get by?
My mortgage in California is 290k and I almost make triple what you guys do. :/

currently work at cardons, the experience you get is amazing. Pay is decent but its worth it. some people who works are cardons have worked at PCH and did not care for it and came to cardons. I heard their pay is less
I've got almost 9 years experience what does that buy me?
