Hello all prospective nurses!
I am curious to know if there is anyone who has applied to Beth Israel for the upcoming Fall 2014 start date. I delivered my completed application on Friday the 28th and so I guess now all I do is wait and see. From past posts I know people sometimes wait until June to know if they are accepted or not. Hopefully we can get a good thread going here and can compare nln scores and share any information that we hear from the school. I hope to talk to some people that are in the same boat as me soon!
Matheww, that's so funny I think we interviewed on the same day at the same time! I too am super stressed waiting to hear from them! I know that they like to interview a few more than they tend to accept, the reasoning behind it, I think, is that they expect some people to get accepted to other programs and they build their waiting list from these interviews too.
Suzanne, I am sure you will be fine. They do admit using rolling admissions but your NLN and background are excellent. Try not to stress too much. I am sure you will hear something soon!
Good luck to all!
Hi Suzane those are good scores and background. The only reason for delay i would think is bc you got your application in later than most. if you dont mind me asking did you get an extension to take the exam on march 20? Im just wondering bc i didnt think you could take the nln on any other dates past march 6. When i signed up there were only a few dates left. And i was forced to take it early even though i was not prepared. I though physical app was due march 1 and you have until april 1 latest to get in the letters of recommendation etc. But they seem really cool abt extenuating circumstances. Did you follow up with the school?
Dlaffin09, I was really worried about the grouped interview. But, I found it to be less nerve racking than I thought. You can always give it a shot and try to email them. The worst they can say is no...
I am not sure if this change in interviewing lessens our chances or makes them better. Only reason I'm wondering, is that in the past, the ones they interviewed almost always were accepted.
Hey everyone! I'm glad to see that more people are talkin on allnurses this year! I am in the same boat with all of you and waiting for April 8th to hear if I got in or not.
Only 4 more days!!! I hope the next time we are posting is saying that we got in!
Good luck to everyone and I hope that these next few days fly by for us and we all receive good news.

Also Matheww, if you don't mind me asking, what were you credentials, NLN, GPA and so forth?
