Manila Doctors Hospital

Published

Hi, is there anyone working in MaDocs? How is it working there when you are a new employee? What are the things to consider or anything you can share your experience working in that institution will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am interested with the 3 months training of Madocs but I passed my resume at the HR Office, is that okay? Since I have read that passing the resume at HR is for the Staff Nurse position.

Hope I could join the next batch of trainees. *fingers crossed*

if i were you, i wont think of salary first.

in this very rough times where supply of nurses are so abundant, you should be thankful if you will be hired in a tertiary, 300-bed capacity hospital.

if i were you, i wont think of salary first.

i will study hard instead because mdh exam isa wayyy harder than board exam. actually, mdh's exam is the hardest exam i took of all the hospitals where i got the chance to sit on an exam.

if you want to have a better salary, work in the callcenter.

Sorry for butting in I would just like to ask if they're still performing exams for their training program. A friend of mine (who started her training last week) informed me that she didn't take any exam to get in.

Are you targeting the training or the hiring? Because there are two ways to enter the MDH Staff. One is through the 3 months voluntary training which costs around 5k with only a 50/50 chance of hiring or the second one which is through the HR which is 100% sure for hiring but you need to undergo a series of interviews and an exam. I went through the 2nd one and I dont need to go through the 3 months training anymore but I took an exam and now awaiting a text for an interview with the Nursing Director. Maybe your friend went through the 3months training that's why there is no exam. I am just not sure.

Ohh thank you. Yes I think she went for the training cause she mentioned the same fee that you were talking about. Well I don't have any experience yet so I guess I'd be better off with the 3-month training. What do you think?

And oh.. Do they require an ACLS training as well? :D

I am a 2011 graduate so I dont have any experience as well but I think I have pretty good credentials. With regards to BLS, ACLS, I don't know if it is needed but I'm sure it is a plus.

That's motivating. Now I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I graduated last 2010 and my last clinical experience was for our intensive practicum, a month after our graduation. How many exams and interviews does one have to go through to be a staff nurse at MDH?

helo brigz... I'm asking the salary. I think its just ok to ask because I believe I have all the qualifications and requirements to enter the MDH and I have passed the exam. If you would excuse I'm asking the salary of the staff nurse of the said institution to be able to weight all the opportunities that are setting off me. I believe there is no harm in asking.
