Hi. I'm from the Philippines too and I'm already a nurse here in Washington. I worked as a CNA first. Try searching any caregiving school close to your place, that's where you can get the certification as a nursing aide. Usually it's only 3 weeks long. Go to doh.wa.gov website and there you will find on how to file for NCLEX here. If you have any question, let me know ☺

Hi marsh! I am also a filipino nurse and planning to take the nclex sinceme andmy husband are based in seattle. I just wanted to know how long did it take for BOn to give your exam eligibility from the time you applied? and one more thing, how long is the validity period for the eligibility? Thanks!

Hi! DO you have a diploma from Philippines? or a License from there?

HI Marsh18!

I am also from the Philippines and based here in WA.

Since you are already a Nurse in WA, May I ask what materials did you use to pass?

I am a little scared because I graduated 9 years ago.

Hi Misslily,

Yes IELTS is one of the requirements of WA BON.

I did self study for my IELTS test and TONS of PRAYERS.

There are books you can purchase or online classes you can enroll, and or review centers maybe within your area that you can check.

I don't have ATT yet. Waiting for my eligibility.

Hello Miss PhatRN, BSN

Thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it. Where in Washington are you in by the way? I got a lot of questions and some advices to ask you about your experiences with this whole procedure, is there any way I can contact you? I really appreciate your help.

I wonder how many months did it take for your CGFNS to get done? Did they mailed you your copy? Did you first completed the CGFNS before submitting application to WA DOH?
