PHCC spring 2012 RN acceptance letters?

The mail usually gets here around 11:30. So I check it at 11:31! I check Angel and WISE to see if anything appears on there. Nothing yet though.

too funny! I did hear that SPC does notify via email for acceptance so I do the same lol...but nothing either! Mazajuma...have you taken any of the courses in the actual course load yet?

As far as nursing courses? They're restricted until you're accepted. However, the only non-nursing course (in the rn degree curriculum) that I have to complete is microbiology.

Ughhhh! Every day I see a notification in my email from this thread, my heart drops to my stomach! I might have as heart attack before "the letter" ever arrives!!!

Hi everyone!

I applied for Jan as well. I had a 3.7GPA but only a 78 on the TEAS.. so I don't know what to expect. I keep checking my mail too.. used to be my hubbys job, now I run out there and practically scream at the mail man! Hopefully we will hear soon. Some of the other threads mentioned that the people who were accepted all got theirs on the same day (or went out on the same day at least) UGH!!!! I hate waiting..

Hi shay85! Welcome to our madness! Your stats sound good! Wish the nursing field wasnt so competitive! Its so frustrating!

On a complete side note.....my fiance and I were walking the beach in san diego today and while I was trying to rationalize the reality of why I should get into nursing school, we walked up as some guy and his 2 kids found a dead, naked man's body washed up on shore! It was so crazy! We didnt really see anything because he was face down and being covered but still! Made me thankful that we are still alive and healthy!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! That's just crazy! And yes I agree the field shouldn't be so competitive, but I guess it's because of the fact that there aren't a whole lot of places offering the program around here. The ones that are offering it are either private schools that cost an arm and a leg, or they are way too far to drive to!
