PHCC spring 2012 lpn applicants

Published

Hi everyone! Just wondering if there are any other Phcc lpn applicants going crazy out there? The waiting is killing me, and I'm afraid my husband might murder me if I don't stop Freaking out lol. Between stalking the mail carrier and talking about it all the time, he is over it. Can't blame him either. So just looking to see if any others are doing the same.

I had to go to the place my tetorifice was given to get record dire tly from them. I had titers done at the health dept. and went and picked up copies of the results. Wherever u had those boosters done should be able to give u copies of your shot record.

Okay thanks....and as far as fb I would join and be a member gladly.

Hi Ladies: I think that at a certain point into this program we can test for our CNA or Home Health Aide...has anyone heard when that is?

The lady from Erwin still hasn't called me back. I really need that physical / immunization form. He's done it 2 times already and want me to get the old one so he can put it into the new one. I guess I have to go there tomrrow.

Where is RedSox78? Hope all is well!

That's true. Haven't heard from her in what seems forever. Although it's probably just a couple of days. It's seems to be crunch time at school right now. I've had or am having three tests and one presentation due this week. It's a bit crazy. One month and one day until the semester ends. :lol2: I can't wait.

If I want to get my AA for any reason then I would only have speech and another humanities class to go. I figured after the LPN I would maybe take those two and Microbiology. Then I will have my AA and all my pre-req's done for LPN-RN bridge. Or maybe try to get into USF.. we will see...

My point was that RedSox is probably really busy with school. I think she has five classes... I hope that's it anyways...

CK73...are you girls going on to get your bsn? Do you have the lpn to rn transition pre reqs done?

Cynthia - I have all but the Microbiology done for my transition. I'm not sure about the BSN.

Colleen - I have all but the Nutrition. I'm not going for BSN. I'm 40 years old and the ASN will be my last stop...lol. :)

Cynthia - I'm 38. That's why I'm not sure about the BSN. I would like to, but I might wait a year or two after. From what I'm seeing and hearing... it's worth it. I guess it depends on how much it will cost. Plus, by the time I would start I would already be done with over four years of school. I'm already a bit tired of school. You know?

So, Monday I have an appt to go in and get all my immunizations done. Cutting it close, right? While I was about to walk out, this little boy comes in with what looks like chicken pox all over him. He's not school aged yet so I don't know if it's going around in a pre-school somewhere. Yikes.

I went and bought a plastic watch yesterday at Target. It was like $7 on clearance, but I don't know if I don't like it because I don't like watches or if it's just a little too stiff right now. Does anyone know if the second hand has to be sweeping or can it tick? It used to be that it had to be a sweeping second hand. But it didn't say on our list.

Good Morning!

Stupid queston, but on one of the forms it asks for a witness signature..who has to sign as the witness? Can anyone or is it supposed to be for faculty to sign?

Springhopeful - I don't know. I wondered the same. I don't think it has to be faculty. I think it can be anyone. But not sure...

I will call and make sure.

Ck- about the watch, the handbook says sweeping hand..but I dunno if they make exceptons or not.

Hope u ladies have a nice friday!!!
