I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

Yes, you can. But you will still have the old grades on your transcipts and they will still count towards your GPA. Just like the F I have for a class I never attended with them, I actually received an A when I did actually take the class (in a different school). Unfortunately, the F still brings down my GPA. :( Or you can take any additional classes you haven't taken. I plan on taking Public speaking and Sociology online. I am not sure if you have taken those yet?

I have a B in sociology and never took public speaking. I meant classes I didn't do so hot in for the required pre-reqs. As in, can I retake it at PHSC and have it override the lower grade if I do better.

That is a great question!! Do they only look at your pre-req GPA or your overall GPA for the program?

Thanks cnamarieg! Ahh! Lol, I'm sure it isn't me, took my literature course some 10 years ago in Atlanta GA.

Does it say you have until July 10th to accept the seat? Being in New York is killing me! But my GPA is 4.0 and teas 76.7 so I think I'm in. Well I'm praying I'm in but I won't find out for sure until Saturday!

I called the school and they said even though I'm an LPN I can still apply to the 2 year RN program and that I just wouldn't have to take some classes I already have. I figure if I can raise my GPA up some, retake the TEAS and change my address to my friend's house in Land O Lakes I can get in. :unsure:
