I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!
The acceptance letter will actually be mailed in small size, it's only two pages, a covering letter with congratulations and the second page is just a paragraph confirming you actually accept the seat. You'll have to sign the second page and return/drop at any campus within a few days (maybe a week). In the covering letter they tell you when to expect the package.
Btw I got a phone call yesterday from PHSC and a guy left a voicemail saying he noticed I hadn't registered for classes and if I was still attending PHSC he would love for me to call back so he can help me register. Did anyone else get that? I'm paranoid that somehow I'm not a student there even though I know I am and I did get my confirmation letter.
Not a phone call but I did get an email saying something along the same lines. I dont think we'd be considered students officially until we get accepted and send back acceptance form.
Wait...if y'all are getting prompts that you aren't "students," did you re-apply to the school in order to submit your app? I think it's something strange like if you haven't been enrolled for 'x' consecutive semesters, you had to reapply to the school. It seemed really odd to me and made me nervous--I wasn't sure if I needed to reapply or what.
Just spoke with Connie in admissions at west campus and the committee met already but she was vague as to when the letters will go out. She said within next two weeks, but I think we will def get them by next week. I'll be in New York on vacation but she said we have until July 10th to accept the seat. Had me nervous there for a minute but thankfully I get back July 5th and will be able to accept my seat on July 7th. (Positive thinking there) good luck to you all and I'll keep you in my prayers!
Well I just took classes in the spring so I am definitely a student. And when I applied, admissions went over everything in the packet to make sure that I had everything turned in AND I got the letter saying I met all the requirements. I just thought the phone call was weird...
Hmm July 10th huh? Looks like we'll definitely get letters next week. :)

I wonder if they'll be out in the mail by tomorrow and maybe we'll have them by Saturday? Wishful thinking....

I really think its generic and wouldnt pay much attention to it as I am getting the same notices from SPC as well. They are just wanting to register you for fall classes ahead of time.

Well just looking at previous threads I seen where when the campus finally let the cat out of the bag with an actual day the committee was supposedly meeting.. letters arrived 2-4 days letter. So there may be a chance that by the end of this week we may receive letters. If not my heart is set on next week. I really doubt we'll have to wait until July 15th.
