PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls

Published

Just wanted to see who all is applying for any program in the fall.

I'm going to be applying for the generic RN and LPN program for backup.

I handed it in at the spring hill campus. And i know for a fact that i turned in everything needed. So who can I contact to verify that they got it?

I would call admissions or the nursing department at west campus.

Thought i would clarify since some of the things since like everyone else i am freaking out a bit too and ended up going to admissions to find some info out.

You only had to apply to one campus as there is 72 seats all together between two campuses, 24 are reserved for paramedics, this year about 110 nurses applied and there is 48 spots.

last year 100 nurses applied, only 60 met the requirements and there was 72 opening so if you applied and met the minimum you got in.

we should get our letters in about 10-12 days as in the past years most people got them on the 30th.

good luck to all!

They need to hurryyyy! The wait is killing me! I check my mailbox everyday hoping for something in there! lol

had a 3.0 in pre recs, and an 82 on teas test anybody care to share their?

But were all the paramedic seats filled? And if not do those seats open up for us?

Thanks for the words of encouragement maximus22, and I hope letters come soon. I know I am making all my family and friends crazy with waiting and wondering:nailbiting:. I have a 3.78 and 81 on my Teas. Just praying that's good enough!!!!:coldfeet:

my oldest daughter had an appointment with Laura Kelly yesterday for advisement and I told her to ask when the letters were / would be sent. she said the committee met last thursday so if we do not get them this week, it would be next week at the latest.

So I will be in school today dreaming about my mailbox.

Ohh wow, that makes me MORE nervous knowing 110 applied and only 48 get in :nailbiting: ! Who would apply if they didn't meet all requirements?? And what matters more, GPA or TEAs? How do they calculate that?

Im confused I thought u couldn't apply unless u met all the requirements??

ugh going crazy waiting...I feel like I wont get in cuz im out of county:nailbiting:
