PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls

Just wanted to see who all is applying for any program in the fall.

I'm going to be applying for the generic RN and LPN program for backup.

They just send a confirmation that your application is complete & fulfills the requirements to apply. It's just a formality. If you applied on the deadline or very close to it, maybe it takes a little longer to get to you due the increased number of apps turned in on the deadline.

Hi all, I'm a paramedic up in hernando just got my acceptance on Thursday so got at least one of us to deal with in aug. lol. Good luck to all of you and see you then. Also they called my cell, home, and emailed me before I got paperwork. After they sent the acceptance letter the next day I got the orientation papers.

Wow, that was very quick! I didn't think anyone got acceptance letters that quickly. CONGRATS to you! :) When did you apply?

ohh wait. paramedics are suppose to get letters this soon due to starting classes before LPNs? Idk if im right lol Do you know others that were accepted yet?

I thought we would be in the same classes as paramedics. There isnt anyway they can start early because we all start Fall the same time and summer is almost over. Congrats on the entry!

I have not recieved a letter that I am eligible to apply. I applied may 29th.

Same here. I turned in my application on the 29th as well and have been checking the mail like a crazy person! I haven't gotten any letter regarding the programs.

Also this is posted in the special notice section on the website of phcc.

  • The ADN/LPN Transition limited access program admits 36 students per year on the North Campus, Brooksville and 36 students per year on the West Campus, New Port Richey.
  • The ADN/Paramedic Transition limited access program admits up to 24 students in June on odd numbered years on West Campus, New Port Richey."

Paramedics start June then lpn's start August we have to do fundamentals first to "catch up".

Oh my I can't wait ANY longer!! I'm driving my family crazy asking 2476422 times a day what came in the mail!!!sadly if I don't get I. At least one program I'll be so bummed :no:
