Hi I am finishing my prereqs now. I plan to take the teas in July. I have not really started studying yet. This test is very intimidating, for me atleast. I never took chemistry or algebra years ago in high school. I did pass elementary algebra at phcc, but that was almost 10 years ago. I think the best plan for me is to study like a maniac, take the teas to see where I'm at, then decide to apply to a program, or to take intro to Chem and intermediate algebra. Depending on how I score will depend on how this plays out.
I'm applying for the Fall LPN program at the Brooksville campus. My TEAS score is 92.0% (exemplary) so I'm hoping that it will make up for the fact that I'm a Citrus County resident and therefore don't receive preference for living in county. I already have a BA so that helped to make the TEAS less daunting, however, I did study the science for weeks - I wish I had studied it a bit more (especially human body science) because that way my lowest area at 79.2%. For anyone who hasn't taken the TEAS yet, study the science and then study it some more.
Is anyone else applying to the Brooksville LPN program? Also, does anyone know if they place you at whatever campus has room? I don't mind driving to Brooksville every day, but I don't think I could manage the New Port Richey campus (it's about 1-1/4 hours from me).

Just wanted to see who all is applying for any program in the fall.
I'm going to be applying for the generic RN and LPN program for backup.
