PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls
Hello jdoyle33613, I live in Citrus County and I was accepted into the LPN program at the Brooksville campus. I received a 92.0% on the TEAS (GPA is not considered for the LPN program). I left a message with the Admissions Office with your same exact question and never received a response, so I can only tell you from personal experience that they do accept out-of-county residents but I don't know exactly how they rank them. Keep up the hope; there will be a new wave of students accepted shortly (see from post from yesterday). Good luck to you and all of the other people out there still waiting!

We have until July 3 to return the letter stating whether we accept or not, but hopefully everyone returns their letters asap. I know mine will be in Monday's mail. Keep up the hope; there will be a lot of spots available

PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls
Just got my acceptance letter and packet in the mail for the Brooksville LPN program! Yippee! Hang in there those of you who haven't received acceptance yet. Many people applied to both LPN and RN programs so as they decide which program they're going to take, those spots will become available and be filled by the next group of people. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

While we wait....let's try to organize a list of what we applied for and what are pre-req gpa / TEAS scores are. This way we don't have to read back through all the posts to see where we stand. Just copy and paste the following into a Reply adding your info if you wish. Pre-req GPA / TEAS score/ Pasco/Hernando (y/n) / Program(s) applied for 1. 3.78 / 82.7 / Y / Generic RN and LPN (Brooksville) 2. 3.4?? (I think) / 75/ Y/ Transition 3. PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls
I'm applying for the Fall LPN program at the Brooksville campus. My TEAS score is 92.0% (exemplary) so I'm hoping that it will make up for the fact that I'm a Citrus County resident and therefore don't receive preference for living in county. I already have a BA so that helped to make the TEAS less daunting, however, I did study the science for weeks - I wish I had studied it a bit more (especially human body science) because that way my lowest area at 79.2%. For anyone who hasn't taken the TEAS yet, study the science and then study it some more. Is anyone else applying to the Brooksville LPN program? Also, does anyone know if they place you at whatever campus has room? I don't mind driving to Brooksville every day, but I don't think I could manage the New Port Richey campus (it's about 1-1/4 hours from me).

Anyone applying for the PHCC Spring 2013 RN/LPN program
Hello All, I hope you made it into the program and are enjoying it. I will be applying to PHCC's LPN program for the Fall Semester in Brooksville. I live in Beverly Hills (Citrus County) and I was wondering if anyone who lives outside of Pasco and Hernando County has made it into the program, since they give preference to county residents. I've been diligently studying for the TEAS and I hope to get a very competitive score (probably 92-96%+ based on the practice tests that I've taken so far), but I don't know if this will be enough to outweigh my out-of-county status. Thank you for any insight you can offer.
