I just finished my pre-reqs for the LPN to RN bridge. Still have to take the TEAS which means I only have one chance at it! Kinda nervous about that! Any advice on taking it?? If I get a proficient score, then I will apply for fall term.

I graduated from the LPN program July 13, 2010 and took the NCLEX August 26th and passed. I just got a job this week 9/9/10 with an agency. You guys should really check into that. They find jobs for you and you can work as little or as much as you want. It's perfect for me since I'm working on classes for transition to RN. As of right now they will be tossing me between a Health & Rehab and Hospice. It's really good pay too. I know most people are trying to get into the hospital, but experience is experience. Get what you can and if you fins something better later, then switch. I have had a couple of people from my class get jobs with hospitals so keep trying!!

Yeah, like I said, early July. I was told the first time I called, that it would be the 2nd or 3rd week of July, so this is good news!!

Ok. So I just got off the phone with PHCC Admissions and they said letters will go out by late June, early July. Little earlier than what I was told before, so that's nice!

I know I was thinking the same thing. They said that if you get an acceptance letter, it will also tell you when orientation will be. At orientation you will sign up for your classes. So, it's a gamble. Do you go ahead and sign up for other classes or do you wait?

Prodigy....when you say 3 semesters, do you mean 3 years? I know that it starts in August and heard that if you don't get in, you have to wait until next August to apply again.

Now I am very nervous. My GPA is low. I've not had good times the past couple of years and it's taken its toll. I have a 2.1 GPA and a 83 Composite NET score. 90 in the math and a 76 in reading. Sounds like I may be overlooked. I'm really hoping not though! I'm trying for LPN at both campuses. Can anyone give me some insight?
