Just a tip, but work in a pharmacy, and try to become a technician and see how you like it BEFORE you commit to going to pharmacy school.

I'm a technician right now and its good money while going to school, but I definitely don't want it to be my life. I'm applying for nursing school myself. But if ya have any other questions let me know.

It is very good advice to work as a tech before you decide if pharmacy is for you. As I hear it, most of the jobs in pharmacy are in retail and then some are in hospitals. Retail means that you might be filling 200+ scripts in a single day with only 2 other techs. Expect to be on the phone a lot with insurance companies and patients alike. When someone isn't feeling well they come to the pharmacy with a Rx in hand and they can get very irrate, grumpy, and rude for no real apparent reason. Working as a tech in the pharmacy made me sure that pharmacy school is not for me. I know I could do very well and become a pharmacist but I also know that I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I would nursing.
