Ideas on how to memorize pharm and answer Pharm questions for Nclex?

Generic Names are uses

Prefix and Suffix will work

Most meds are used with meals

Meds to take in the morning (e.g. laxis) and Meds to take in the evening?

ANY OTHER IDEAS?

Thanks

I'm sorry....what? I don't understand the list, what is it you're looking for?

I just took my nclex and the one i used the most out of your list was the -suffixes. Only got 1 or 2 straight out choose the medication question, the rest of my meds question were about adverse effects or priority interventions, in which case i just chose the most "dangerous" out of the given choices lol.

RNsRWe, I am asking about ways on how to answer pharmacology questions. Above are some that I listed and Mongy, gave a very good idea. Thanks Mongy.

RNsRWe, did I answer your questions? Mongy, sounds like you passed :) :)

I took the nclex-rn over a week ago and I was surprised that only the generic names were used and not the brand name along with it. Luckily, using suffixes I was able to figure out the questions. That's one thing I would study really well is suffixes and just the generic name!
