I have 17 drugs I need to know by thursday for my exam. I have been studying but want to know any pointers anyone may have. My professor wants us to know the Classification, Contraindication, Interactions, Therapeutic Effects, MOA, SE and AE for each drug.

The drugs are:

Acetaminophen

Aspirin

Ibuprofen

Celecoxib

Morphine Sulfate

Nalbuphine

Naloxone

Cefaclor

Cefazolin

Dicloxacillin

Amoxicillin

Isoniazid

Co-trimoxazole

Levofloxacin

Gentamicin

Doxcycycline

Azithromycin

Any help would be apprecitated...:loveya:

Hi!

Most of those drugs if not all can be found in flashcard format on www.flashcardexchange.com. You can do a search by individual drug name or "pharm" or "pharmacology", you will have to kind of explore the website, but its a great additional study tool with your drug book!

Good luck! :)

Epocrates.com is also a great help. Or go buy a drug guide. In my program, we were required to purchase one. [= Good luck!

Thank you for your responses. I have a drug guide.

Put them into categories, for example you have several analgesics, and several antibiotics. Make a drug card for each one and cram. The action will be almost the same for a class, as will the adverse effects. Get organized and you can do it.

Thank you NewinNewYork:yeah: Very helpful.

Except for aspirin, all the ones that end in "in" are antibiotics.
