If these classes were required prereqs, I'm just wondering where you took them (especially if you are in the Bay Area). Did you do them online or in a class?
And what did you think of them?
Thanks for any info :)

I'm taking both, totally online, in the fall. Patho is offered online through Stephen F Austin University (BSN Program) in Nacogdoches, TX. The pharm I am taking through Panola College, in Carthage TX. I know that I will have to go on campus to take proctored tests for Pharm, but it looks like a really interesting topic! Good luck to you!

Hey OrindaMom,
Have you see this link from Samuel Merritt's website?
http://www.samuelmerritt.edu/files/documentation/patho_and_pharm_course_suggestion.pdf
They have a great listing of online pharm and patho classes that they accept. :)

Kensington (do you live in Kensington by the way?) -- I did see that -but I was still a bit confused when I was researching the sites they listed. And I know SMC offers the classes, but I've had trouble finding information. I was just wondering what everyone else did for these classes. Thanks for the response :)

I took pharm online last semester, and I am taking Patho online this semester.

There are several choices for Pharm but Patho was a bit harder to find. I took Patho through Woodland Community College (In Woodland, CA) and Pharm through Sac City (in Sacramento, CA). Both were totally online. They weren't too difficult. I got A's in both but it's hard for me to get a lot out of online courses. I learn much more through traditional courses.
Good luck!
Hi OrindaMom,
No, I'm in San Francisco. :) Good luck finding the right classes for you!

Solano Community College in Fairfield also offers an online pharmacology course. I prefer online because I tend to learn mostly by reading the book anyway.
The fees are standard California resident CC fees of $20/unit (though I hear they're talking about dropping 'em to $15)
