PGH feedback

Published

Anyone here worked at PGH before? Looks like they're hiring. While waiting out the retrogression, might as well, right?

My former classmate's panel interview was supposed to be last Sept 9 but it was cancelled. She told me that "maybe" the following interview schedules will be moved. I am scheduled on October.. I hope it will not be moved.

Fortunately, I have a new job as a staff nurse in a tertiary hospital near our home. I am employed just recently. Thank God..

But, if PGH will call me in the future for my deployment, I will definitely transfer there. GodBless to all..

im working nw here at our provincial hospital as a volunteer RN ;)

omg! hope my panel interview will not be moved too.

so wen's da schedule of ur former classmates? are they done with the interview?

mine would be on Nov. 18. I guess I'm late :-)

then after that two more years waiting hehehe

btw to all rn's who are scheduled for the interview, call them 1 day before the actual date of interview. It is a must according to the HR staff. You have to confirm to them that you can come on the scheduled date.

thanks for da info btw. i guess after the panel interview would be final interview.

ohhh mmyyyyyy... roundtrip for how any times ^^

i hope my interview will be resked ;( got important thing to do dis sembreak ;(

can i get dean's form anytime at DNEt office or they have a schedule date on releasing it ?

i want to register in APCN ? is it true you need to have 80+ board rating to join?

what is the nurse patient ratio?

can i get dean's form anytime at DNEt office or they have a schedule date on releasing it ? they do have a scheduled date of releasing dean's form, i think it will be on october this year. try to contact DNET office at Tel No. 524-0703/ 521-8450 local 3915 and look for the program coordinator of APCN batch30 (feb-aug 2011).

after you get the dean's form, you will have to go to your dean's office and/or university registrar to have them furnish the form, indicating your general weighted average and clinical experience grade (RLE grade)

i want to register in APCN ? is it true you need to have 80+ board rating to join? having an 80+ board rating is an advantage. still, the applicants are ranked from highest to lowest (Board rating + GWA + RLE Grade + Score on QUalifying exam). aim higher than just passing the exam.

what is the nurse patient ratio?APCN has three levels; Level I, II, and III.

Level I(novice) is on your first month of stay on PGH, you will be assigned to three - five patients

Level II (advance beginner) second to third month of stay, five to eight patient plus one intubated

Level III (competent) during the last three months, NP ratio depends on the special area of choice

what are the special areas of APCN?? OR Complex, ICUs, Hemodialysis, Cardiac Cath Lab, and the Department of Emergency Medical Services
