Anyone on here have experience creating a petition? I believe that in these critical times that we nurses should all have licenses that cross all state lines. All states should be immediately entered into the Nursing Licensure Compact.
The reasoning for not being part of NLC for any state in this day and age mostly revolves around money. Require an online state law session, and be done with it.

I’m glad my state does not participate in the NLC compact and prefer it remain that way.

Why?
Has anyone else been considering this?

Some States are waiving the State License and will accept others from another state as long as the license is in good standing.
I think a pro/con discussion would be needed.
Not sure what the pros and cons would be as I only have one state and one CEU requirement.

California nurses fought to get the pay and the working conditions they have. It is their system, and we should honor the hard work they did by abiding by their guidelines. Also, there is a crisis everywhere, and every community is suffering.
