I have always wanted to learn how to snag gifs from online sources for reuse on Twitter, emails, or elsewhere and would deeply love a tutorial because I have never succeeded.

You can always do whatever you like c me, DaveyDo. <veg>

How do I change this generic H to something more colorful? You have my permission to choose a color. Since I’m a Mac person I always worshipped at the altar of Steve Jobs, so maybe you  could use this. Too pixilated, though, and I don’t know how to smooth it. .

I have never used Mac and all of my digital art has been self taught since a relative gave me their old Windows 98 back in the early 'aughts.

Here's how I upload GIFs and other images:

Right click on the image, choose the "save as" option, choose a computer file, and left click on save.

To download, click on, as here on allnurses, the site's choose file. Go to the file, left click on the saved image, and the site will do the rest. For example on allnurses, place the cursor in the area where you wish to place the image and click on the "+".

The reason why the image is so pixelated is because it's in a JPEG format, which is great for reality photos yet a little difficult to edit. The process for making the image less pixelated is too complicated to explain in one post, but I'll give you the gist:

I uploaded the image as previously described and sent it to MS Paint where I converted the image to a PNG format, which is much easier to, for example, change colors.

This is not the exact image, as I had to redraw it, so to speak.:

Don't I look pretty now? ? I love this color and I loved Steve Jobs, so perfect. Thanks for the png tip-- I saved it in that format and Joe did it for me.
