I haven't seen a discussion made for the Spring semester so I've decided to start one. Wishing us all the best on our acceptance!
I recently just got the email that I.ve met minimum requirements. Anyone have any idea on how long the acceptance process takes? I'm super anxious and excited to get started!
Also looking to get a head start on studying I have a few materials if anyone wants to become study buddies!
Since we are still waiting for a decision. I would like to share my stats because I studied the previous forums and the transparency of the applicants provided me an idea what GSU could possibly accept. I know each semester is different but you never know who might need to see this.
GPA: 3.4
TEAS: 84
I am finishing up Micro & American Government this semester. I will be finished with all my prerequisites by Spring 2025.

I do not recall seeing someone post with pending classes. We could be the first to post on the forum with pending classes. Also, online it states:

You don't need to have all of your prerequisites completed before you apply, but you must be able to finish them before the semester you want to start the program.

Those are all the ones with grade requirements (A&P 1 and 2, micro, the labs that go along with them, and psych 1 and 2). You can still take some of the other classes while taking your 1st semester of nursing school, but its ideal to have everything finished so you can focus on the nursing class. I understand, thank you. I'm currently taking Microbiology and Micro Lab, which will be completed before Spring 2025. My question is about the realistic chances of being accepted with these classes pending, even though I know it's possible to apply with just a year of biology classes completed.

Yes,that's perfectly fine to still be completing your prereqs this semester. I'm not positive but I think theres something on the acceptance letter stating the acceptance is contingent upon you completing the required class with the required grade by the start of Spring semester.
