Perimeter College at Georgia State University - ASN Spring 2025

Published

Hello!

I haven't seen a discussion made for the Spring semester so I've decided to start one. Wishing us all the best on our acceptance!

I recently just got the email that I.ve met minimum requirements. Anyone have any idea on how long the acceptance process takes? I'm super anxious and excited to get started!

Also looking to get a head start on studying I have a few materials if anyone wants to become study buddies!

I haven't received any response yet. Just letting you girls know.

Nothing yet...

We're getting closer, I read last year they got emails on the 26th

I'm getting so anxious I feel sick. Do you girls know anything about how clinical are? Like how many days a week and stuff? I think we have classes on Wednesdays too right? (if we all get in the program of course)

No problem! I've just about read everything I can find which is not a lot, it's like a secret club LOL. But I'm so anxious waiting for these emails

Hello everyone,

I anxiously awaiting for my decision letter as well. In hindsight I wish I would have applied to more than program so I wouldn't be as nervous. Good luck to us all!

Fingers crossed! I've literally checked my email everyday since the application deadline date

They're changing things when it comes to skills lab, so you might not only have one 8-hour day. The initial day when you learned the skill was 8 hours and the practice day was 4 hours. 1st semester you do have lecture once a week (1st week you go 2 days). You may not have a skills lab every week, but you have the learning day, a practice day, and a validation day for each skill. Clinicals are weekly barring holidays, your start date depends on your clinical. It may not be the 2nd week. It's a lot of unknown until you get your schedule. But plan for 3 days a week most weeks.

My best advice, if you're not organized, get organized. If you're already organized, stay organized! Find you a calendar/planning system that works for you and make sure to utilize it!

Thank you for the information it's very helpful!! I currently work part time as a tech.  Therefore, I will need to synchronize my work and school schedule. I'm finishing up Micro and American Govt this semester. By Spring 2025 I will be finished with all my prerequisites. Hopefully this will alleviate some of nursing school's study load so that I can continue to work.

Hello guys I'm a bit confused is this for next semester  Spring or for next year Spring 2026 because the deadline is July 1

I applied for Spring 2025. And you are right the application deadline was July 1st. If I'm not mistaken the next deadline is January 1st for Fall 2025.
