I agree. This blog is always riddled with spelling and grammar errors. It kills the sarcasm for me. They try too hard and usually miss the boat.

I'm using my FB page to edu-ma-cate on vaccines - notably flu right now. I have some true-life friends/relatives who are anti-vaxxers and post things on their pages that have been debunked for a long long time.

OMG, if I had a nickel for every time someone says/posts, "The only time I ever got the flu was a year that I got a flu shot!" and/or "Every time I get a flu shot I get sick 2 / 3 / 10 / days later, so I'm never getting a flu shot again!"

Let's not even go into the fact that they think that puking and pooping is "the flu" and they got the gastrointestinal viral version of a clearance sale ("everything must go!") because of a vaccine for a respiratory virus.

Well good for you! I am happy there are people like you who have the patience to educate them. I would find it impossible to be friends with such people.

It is kind of impossible to not "be friends" with my daughter-in-law, her mom and aunt, a family friend from 30 years ago, all who otherwise are kind and very sweet people.

The friend from 30 years ago is fairly new at this internet stuff and FB as well . . . .she regularly posts links to internet hoaxes in general. Yesterday it was the one about cell phones can make popcorn. I link her to the real story with those as well.

I've only recently come across this blog but find the satire relaxingly funny. I haven't been there long enough to notice grammar and spelling errors although I fully admit to being a spelling/grammar nazi (small n) but thought the reason might be if these medical folks were from another country like Australia. I tried to find where they were from on the blog itself but no luck. I frequent another place that uses satirical meme's that IS based in Australia and there are what we Americans would call misspellings or grammatical errors although that is not true really. Here's all I could find about who does the writing:
