We all need to call our state reps an let him/her know how MOT has a negative or unsafe impact on our patients and our families. We need to flood them with phone calls from us and all our loved ones. We ned to do this for ourselves and our profession. HAP is putting big money to have this bill fail over and over again. HAP does not wish to relinquish their staff tool of MOT and have to spend more monies tring to R&R nurses. It is cheaper and easier the hospitals to staff the hospital and healthcare facilities by MOT than to try to think creative way and spend the money to provide incentives for staffing. Call your state reps now and frequently and demand passage of HB 834. It won't happen until we as a profession demand it for our both ours and our patient's safety
