Penn Valley LPN enrollment with classes

Published

I have been accepted into the Penn Valley LPN program for Spring 2014 and enrollment for classes starts Nov 4. The nursing department isnt very helpful with answering questions and just talks in circles. Do they enroll you in your classes or do they tell you what classes to enroll in?

Plus I'm sure by that payment date all of our financial aid & degree switch overs will hopefully be done with by then.

My degree finally switched over & had my adviser recalculate my SAP & financial aid has finally posted. I had to end up applying for my first student loan too because it wasn't going to cover about $200 worth of the program, plus books. But hoping they got yours switched over now & all situated.

Best of luck to you & have fun in the program!

So now I'm just waiting on my degree plan to be changed. Hoping to get everything taken care of this week. Definitely have learned in this process you have to stay on top of things!!

Can anyone tell me the website you used to study for the hospital competency exam? I've tried calling and sent 2 emails to the nirsing dept and I can't get anyone to answer. I've got to get this finished today. I must have heard wrong at orientation because the website I wrote down has nothing to do with hippa!

I can as soon as I get home this evening from work I will message it to you :)

Oh thank you!!

Oh thank you!!

@Knh786:

EDIT: So, I don't get in trouble on here again. If you need the website still let me know.

Exactly! I've learned that myself, a lot of my friends in the program have been telling me the same thing, plus be sure to copy a lot of your stuff too incase the program loses any of your stuff, which has happened before according to my friends in the program.

But definitely keep on top of them & ask them how much longer until that degree gets switched over if it hasn't yet, I called A LOT of times before it finally got done. Once it's done you'll see on your academic requirements that it has switched over & then you may have to talk with your academic advisor to have them adjust credits so financial aid posts.

Here's a dumb question since my CNE check in is tomorrow. Are any of you going to dress up before going in or just kind of go casually? They never really asked specifically but I guess it wouldn't hurt anything.

Little_Bear: Apparantly I have not posted enough to be able to even reply to private messages. I do not see the link (i'm assuming they wouldn't let you post it). I have the website for the competency exam but not the truman website. Like I said, I must have misheard because I typed what I had in my notes and it is most definitely not what I am looking for :) . If you can't post links, can you email me? My email is my screen name at yahoo dot com. Thank you so much!!
