To all the future SRNA's of The University of Pennsylvania 2018. A thread to assist each other with questions, preparation and ideas.
I almost forgot to ask, is there anyway to take any of the classes early? ( like our summer semester classes?)
Yes you can take certain courses beforehand. I was thinking the same way last year and I spoke with two of the SRNAs from the 2017 Cohort. They said you can take it. However, you have to ask the program director to matriculate you prior taking those courses. I personally felt that my priority was to keep accumulating my ICU experiences and "money," so, I didn't pursue the interest. I am planning not to work at all for the next three years.
Hi guys!
I'm currently waiting on my interview with UPenn that's coming up in approximately two weeks. I'm growing a bit more nervous as it gets closer, naturally, so I thought I would ask for a general consensus of what your interview consisted of? I'm expecting a lot of clinical questions (and meds), but still unsure about the general flow of the interview. How did you study/ practice for your interview? What types of questions did you ask?
Any information would be incredibly helpful - thanks so much!
