I googled 'pelvic rest'. You may have to scroll down a bit to find exactly what you need. The only good reference pertained to placenta previa. It also mentioned no heavy lifting, no squatting, no orgasms. There must be written instructions somewhere. Have the doc write out exactly what is to be avoided.
Thanks, everyone! I googled, also, and as mentioned, it took awhile to find something-but it seemed to be specific to placenta previa. I'll probably write something myself, see if the head nurse agrees and if she does, share it.
I just find that the population I deal with like to have teaching material as a reference. Thank you.

I work in OB/GYN and for the past few days, I have been looking for teaching material to hand my patients that are advised for pelvic rest. I know what it is (of course), but I wanted to give them something to reinforce my instructions. Have looked on line and most of the material I found is about 5-6 pages long, which makes it hard for me to make alot of copies. Also, because of the population I deal with, I need it to be short, simple, yet, accurate.
Thanks!
