Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Okay im convinced that the PV trick actually works!! I woke up early this morning to check the BRN website update and i was surprised to see my name was in it.... w/ the RN right next to it!!!Heres my breakdown of studying 4wks prior to the test, so hopefully it could help someone in a similar situation relieve some anxiety as well. The only review class i took was kaplan. The only book i used was the kaplan book and my iggy book (from nursing school.) I broke down the kaplan book into systems and added extra notes to each subject. I answered 150-200 Qbank questions a day. By the time my kaplan courses ended i did 1 qtrainer a week till' the test. my qbank scores ranged from 50-75% until i finished my qbank then my scores went from 75-100% (give or take d/t i already saw many of the same questions). For Qtrainer 5 i got a 64%. Qtrainer6=56%. Qtrainer7 i saved until a week before my final week and got 66%.
My actual nclex i took 75 questions w/ no math question, only a little of peds/ob, a lot of prioritization, 10-15 SATA's, and a lot of meds/teaching. Overall the situation was overwhelmingly stressful, but also very rewarding! Thank you to everybody for the support! :redbeathe
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I was so sure that you also passed.... :yeah:
I can't thank everyone enough for posting their "trick" experiences and outcomes. I don't remember who did it, but a member on page 71 actually tallied the numbers for sucess and failures... it gives me hope that the trick is in fact legitimate. I can't help but believe in it because I can't get to the CC page! Yay!
Good luck to everyone... And for those of us in Cali, let's all continue to try and bear the pain!
I took NCLEX today in Oakland... I'll post if the trick worked for me as soon as I find out!

congratulations volleylax for taking the nclex. i will be testing in oakland too on thursday, so scare. so bad no quick result in CA.
How crazy is this that I just tried the "trick" and I am almost in tears and my hands are shaking because I received the "contact the boards message". I took my exam today at 1215 in CA. I tried the trick about 3pm and got the message that I have an open registration and cannot register again at this time. I looked again at 615pm and my status changed to delivery successful and the message came up:heartbeat. Why cant CA have quick results:banghead:. I guess to keep from going crazy, I will be rechecking the Pearson site and the Boards site for my license. I want to wish for myself and all who will try this "trick" that it holds true. Good luck to all future RN's. AND THE WAIT BEGINS

congratulations in advance:yeah::yeah:. we californians have to do something about this. playing with peoples emotion is not good.
Alright everyone...Just to let you guys know I recently took the NCLEX PN in California on May 4th, 2009. I am getting the error message that everyone here is basically saying you passed. I will keep you guys posted on the results. Just to note I had one friend who did this trick and checked every day for 36 days until she got her results. She got the same error message and actually passed the NCLEX PN in california. Just to add I had 2 other friends that recently took the NCLEX PN in California before I did and they both were sent to the credit card payment section. I will keep you guys posted on their results as well as mine. I am not trying to scare anyone, give false hopes, here or provide any false information. I will test this trick out myself and let you guys no the outcome and you can take it from there. Ofcourse the official results will tell you but I have read most of the threads in this post and not one did I read states it didn't work for them (except for those who didn't do it right..E.g background color change etc.). I am just as stressed about the NCLEX as everyone else so please bear with me. Thank you everyone and good luck =)
I remember your anxiety and dread of telling everyone I had failed! I had already prepared my speech... but of course I passed, I worked my tail off for two years in school!
I think I did buy the test results for that extra money and checked the state nursing license page of listed current licenses which actually had it posted the same day as what I paid for from pearsonvue.
I have never heard of a single nurse or any student I graduated with getting less than 100 questions and failing if that's any help... that means in 75 q's they were able to tell if you were a "basic skills level beginning nurse".
Relax, enjoy this summer and your time now... rest up, because you've got a whole other school waiting here for ya! :)
Good luck!
the trick works- if there is still anybody out there in denial. I tried to register a few hours after my NCLEX and I got to the credit card page, so I had a suspicion that I had failed. well I got my results in the mail today, and sure enough 'HAS NOT PASSED' was written in capital letters..boohoo.
good luck to those still waiting for results or about to write. it's back to the drawing board for me..
