Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I just finished taking the nclex-RN just a few hours earlier and already, I have passed judgement on myself that I did NOT pass b/c 253 questions? AND I sat there for the 6 full hours as well. Dreadful and sad. Needless to say, I am in self-loathing mode right now *kicking myself in the butt*. Took the exam running on no sleep (24+ hrs), drank an entire 16 oz of energy drink and when I got to the testing site, I feel like I was a walking zombie because of all that caffeine in my body (entire body was shaking, hand tremors and the awful palpitations that I felt!). Oh, and my speech was nearly incoherent. I think if I actually had a conversation with someone, they would of thought I was on drugs!!! Needless to say, I left the exam with the the most horrible feeling ever because I KNEW I failed. I am just soaking in my own self-pity right now...really sad. Kinda wish I've studied a lot hard like my other friends.

Getting to the point (sorry I was thrown off, needed to vent a little *sad face*). I heard about the PVT from one of my friends a few weeks back, but he has never tried it himself since his wife bugged him to just pay the fee to get the results. So after getting home from the exam, I quickly googled it and bam, here I am, reading through a lot of the good news from people which is nice (Congrats on your hardwork!). I guess for some of us who feel like we did so poorly would like to just confirm if this theory (PVT) is true. Anyway, I tried the method purposed on the first page and to my surprise (although I still don't believe it), I got the "good" pop-up. It's been nearly 5 hrs since I last took the exam so maybe it was an error or it might change tomorrow or something, who knows. Okay, let me be real with you guys so people won't think that most people just pass based on the PVT b/c everyone studied like crazy for it or at least studied for a month to prepare for the nclex so how can you not pass, right?. I may be the ONLY one on this ENTIRE page who only spent 4-5 days preparing for it and I wasn't really trying either (and no, I'm not a genius either, wish I was though). To top it off, I graduated last November so it's been 7 months since I've even laid eyes on any nursing books or related materials. So what I'm trying to say is, if I get the "good" pop-up now AND I actually indeed did pass this darn exam then I will definitely return here to let all of you guys know. I think if I made it (which I still doubt), then this PVT is definitely as real as it gets. Stay in touch guys.

Took my RN this morning, and firmly believe that I failed. I did the PVT and got the good pop up... Still don't believe it, but feel a little better. Got 85 Questions...

IIRoads, I took the test yesterday and it took me 3 hours to take the test. Mine shut off at 258!!!!!! I think I would have felt better if it shut off at 265. I think I was doing REALLY bad at the beginning and started doing better later in the test because I got a WHOLE bunch of SATA questions. When it was all said and done I had completed 20 SATA questions out of the 258 questions. 2 hours after I took the test I tried the PVT and got the "good" pop-up. Tried it again this AM and got the good pop-up again. Around 1130 today I got an email from my BON saying I passed the NCLEX but the hold up for my license was because they were still working on my background check. I sent in my application with everything on June 1st. So not really suprised. Don't give up hope. Let us know how you did. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I took mine in may but I called the board and someone else e-mailed them they were working on April 20 if in CA

Omg.. Ru serious?? I've been waiting everyday for my mail this week.. Urgggggg!! So Im expecting another week from them again.. This is my 7th week already.

PVT worked for me - got my quick results this morning and I PASSED!!! Thank you God!!!

I would like to say to all the non believers that YES the pearson VUE trick worked for me!!!! I left the testing center feeling as if I would have to take the dreaded test again after getting all 265 questions. I came home desperate for information on all kinds of things like getting that many questions and passing and things like when could I find out my results. I ran into this threaded discussion and it is the only thing that kept me sane in the last 48 hours. I went to the site and got the good message before I even knew what I was doing. I was just trying to register again cause I thought I had FAILED for sure. I waited the 48 hours and just found out that I PASSED!!!!! So keep the faith and know that GOD will be with you regardless of the outcome. I praise JESUS that I passed and really hate this long process of finding out the results. THank you to all of the threads they were a balm on my nerves throughout the process. KEEP your head up and I will see you in the workforce. A very grateful RN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PVT worked for me. Took test Wednesday 8am. Tried the trick that afternoon, got the good pop up. Just found out that I passed officially :)

Just made a seperate post and realized I should probably put it here. I took my NCLEX-Rn this morning. It was an awful experience. Shut off at 75 and I swear I had at least 20 SATA plus many many drug, priority and delegation questions. I wanted to cry in there. The only thing keeping me sane is that I did get the "good" pop up on PV and I pray it is accurate! Will definitely keep yas posted.

I took the NCLEX on June 9 , 2010 and 2 of the girls from my same program took it the 8th. We werent going to try this but we couldnt help ourselves. We all got the good message and we all passed. That was the worst 48 hours of my life waiting for the results though. Good luck everyone...I was skeptical about the trick at first but now I eally believe it works!!!!!!:yeah::nurse:
