Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

i feel like us california board takers are against the grain, that is what i was thinking since ca doesn't participate in the quick results it is easier just to have what people are calling the good pop up well "pop up" I feel your pain, i do not know my results yet and still have not admited to my family that i have taken it yet. So it is double killing me inside.

At the end of the day even if the PVT still works the official results from the board of nursing are the important one you need to wait for. I know PVT gives peace of mind however it isn't official

beautifully put, and i have to agree with you completely---i wished i had stumbled on this thread before or even shortly after my nclex....i am just thankful i have found it now to help get me through the remaining wait period....again NO SNAIL MAIL...Got the good pop up though early this morning i finally broke down and tried it. was scared to try but slowly went through the detailed instructions....instruction tap open on right side of screen, and PV on the other....

6 weeks 5 days down - (from california 'the land of opportunity; after the testing of patience').

i do have a question for all those out there that want to share anything. just out of curiosity regarding the 'trick' and mind you all...i just am enjoying this day and having some hope and even if a fantasy ending - this day has been much more uplifting and positive and for that i am happy...but bake to the question.

how can the trick work if someone has a ticket or something positive on backround - just curious for those who do = does it still work ? yes one may have "passed" however- if there is any investigating and enforcement unit is reviewing file- they are the final and deciding factor on releasing the "results" to the candidate.

even if a candidate passes, the enforcement unit can overturn the results....now i am not trying to dampen, rain on or do anything to anyone's parade or dream- i am venting, reaching out and grasping for anything. I obviously tend to over analyse everything, possibly why i had so many questions, and well, i have just been trying to find out why it is taking so long for results....

So that is again why i am so glad i found this site, as i am not alone and the time frame is somewhat across the board equal...but this head of mine won't stop the 'what if's"???????//=E$R%^&U*)R%^T&U*I()_

anyone out there get results today from California, near Anaheim testing center, April 2ndish test date??????

u need to see the delivery successful befor u do the trick it on ur histoy said successful delivery if no is not u doing it wrong

here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the nclex exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/nclex.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

Ok so i talked to a pearson vue lady and she told me her supervisor told her that in most cases it wont let you register if you passed the exam!

i took my first nclex-RN last September and tried the PVT for the first time and i went all the way to the CC page, i start studying right away, did not loose hope because i want to take again, then i got the result after 2 1/2 weeks and yes, i failed. i took my 2nd nclex-rn last may 6 3 hours after tried PVT again, i got the good pop up :lol2:but i don't think of it seriously and i am still waiting for the mail for my result just to make sure. but PVT helped me relax a little just to survive until i get the result. then if the result comes, if pass, yahoo but if failed, then study again, at least i manage to survive the waiting time, PVT is like an anti anxiety pill for me. it helps me relax while waiting, haha. I'm still waiting for my result. i will make sure to tell what will happen when i get it, just to share my experience just like the others. btw, i don't have an SSN so i can't view my name at the BRN, if i did pass, so i need to wait for the letter:uhoh3:. PVT is true or not, i doesn't matter. passed or failed the exam, i will just leave that to the day the letter comes. what is important right now is i feel calm :smokin:after the moment i got the good pop up and until now. congratulations to all who passed and those who's PVT works for them. and to all who's waiting for the result, PRAY. we all know we did our best, so think positive. to those who failed, reapply again after 45 days from your last exam then continue to study, i believe it's much better to take the exam again while the review is still fresh in our minds:).

I think it means NEITHER. It means you have to wait longer, until it said "Delivery successful" to do the trick again. I don't know why because many others and I were able to try right away. The trick is no longer reliable but it's the only thing that keeps me sane now until I get the official result. Good luck to all of us!

The delivery successful part is on the side, so do you think there is really a glitch with the pvt? someone said it was wrong on the lvn not the rn:idea:

Please don't count yourself out!! Especially not over this "trick"....it does NOT sound reliable at all to me. From reading the other posts about it there are many who say it's not a good trick.

I understand your worry....I, too, have soooo much riding on this. Hang in there. And understand that what's done is done, so try to accept that in your mind.

no i did not talked to any pearsonvue people. i never tried calling them to ask.
